I’m Going To Stay, But Things Will Be Different

I’ve decided to keep Our Tiny Earth, but I’m done being nice. I’m going to say what I want to say. If you have a problem with my beliefs, fuck you. This is America and I’m every bit as entitled to my beliefs and my opinions as you are to yours. This is also MY blog. It’s not yours. If you have a problem with what I have to say, then you can write your own blog.

  1. I’m glad you decided to stay. We don’t agree on very many issues, but I think you have just as much right to a voice as I do. While we may disagree 99%, on this we are 1, we are stewards of this spinning ball.

  2. I am so glad you have decided to stay! I have been fortunate in my writing that I rarely seem to write something that is “controversial” but even when my readers disagree with me, they are polite in their comments. I have read several of the comments left for you and can understand your feelings, to those I hope you respond as you feel the need to, like you said this is your blog.

  3. I’m glad that you’re staying … you have a lot of important things to say. Here’s the thing … controversy makes people think and we need more thinking people if we are to save the environment. When you get some less-than-polite comments … well, you know you’ve struck a chord and people are thinking about what you are saying. Let’s face it … it’s easy to be “nice” and simply keep our mouths closed … it’s much more difficult to approach a subject with honesty & integrity! Keep it up … you’re one of the few “tell it like it is” people and we need you!

  4. Glad to hear it Scott! Personally, I find much of the fun of blogging comes when people disagree with me. Don’t back down. Of course, be your thoughtful, respectful self… But don’t back down.
